Liśkiewicz Grzegorz


Greg works at the Lodz University of Technology on design and safety of centrifugal compressors. His goal is to make industrial compressors safer and more economic. He is also a Rector’s proxy for Academic Entrepreneurship and Member of Board in the Top 500 Innovators Association. A member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Physics, The Institution of Engineering and Technology, Top 500 Innovators Society, Innovation Forum, Strathclyde Alumni Society, US Alumni Association. Greg worked at the Leeds University, Oxford University, Cambridge University, General Electric and the University of Strathclyde, where he received the Ph.D. title. He actively works in the field of academic publishing in the role of author, reviewer and editor. In 2011 Greg co-funded AMBER EDITING, the company providing solutions for polish authors of JCR-indexed scientific articles. He is also involved in the growth of the local innovation ecosystem in Łódź, supports the organisation of mentoring program “Youth in Łódź”. Greg loves good music played on vinyl discs. In free time he enjoys bike trips. His favorite place on earth is Barra island in Scottish Hebrides and Landmannalaugar in Iceland.
