I work at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Internal Diseases with Clinic of Diseases of Horses, Dogs and Cats. My scientific interests and research activities center around veterinary cardiology and experimental cardiology, and can be grouped into the following areas: underlying mechanisms of arrhythmia, diagnostics and novel treatments for arrhythmia in veterinary patients, and complications of antiarrhythmic therapy; influence of concomitant diseases on the values of electrocardiographic parameters, and clinical and morphological correlates of cardiac diseases; development and applicability of animal models for experimental studies in cardiology, in particular for the research on the pathomechanisms of arrhythmia. I’m expert of The National Centre for Research and Development, project leader and principal investigator of research projects, author and co-author of scientific publications, supervisor of completed PhD dissertations and reviewer of PhD dissertations, reviewer of manuscripts submitted to journals from the JCR list
