INNOVATION IN TIMES OF CRISIS Day 1

Learning as a Tool for Resilience During Disruption

TALK

For entrepreneurs and scientists, learning is a way of life. Whether that learning happens in a lab, in a classroom, or on the job 鈥 via hard-won successes and disappointing mistakes -- your ability to take in and synthesize new information, then adapt your actions accordingly, are essential to your success. COVID-19 has thrust many of us out of our normal work and gathering spaces, thus disrupting paths to learning, especially the feedback loops that tell us if we鈥檙e doing a good job. In this talk, I will explain how adjusting to new modes of learning, many of which will remain long after COVID-19 recedes, will make you a more resilient person and professional.
